The following image shows my earnings for the month of June 2008 (ending 6/29. Add 55.00 for the true figure). My earnings have nearly doubled since April. These earnings are EPN alone, I still monetize using other affiliate marketing methods.

It’s very exciting and satisfying for me knowing I am doing this with Build a Niche Store and simple promotion methods that don’t cost me a penny — just time. EXCITING IS THE WORD!

After having inadvertently used several different trademarked names in domains I am backing away from those domains and niches that even remotely smack of trademark infringement.

I think of it this way … where would I be if eBay were to yank my EPN account out from under me right now? I would be BUMMED. While I don’t place all of my eggs in one basket so to speak, I do rely heavily on the eBay Partnership Program because I think it is a very worthwhile gig and venture. People LOVE eBay (me included) and it’s a fantastic way to earn some serious bank if you know what you are doing and have a plan in place.

So, l was reflecting on some of the domains I have had which are less than kosher and decided that it was time to come clean. Especially with the domain, “ebaynichestores.com” which I changed to Niche Garage.

This is a much more kosher way to go.

Build An eBay Affiliate Empire

BANS has created some packages that allow eBay affiliates who are affiliated to eBay through the Pepperjam Network to use the Build a Niche Store package.

This allows BANS users to access the eBay affiliate program through either option:

1) The eBay Partner Network
2) The Pepperjam Network

I am personally finding success with the eBay Partner Network and do not see a switch to Pepperjam as something that will add value to my Niche Network.

This was just an option that Kelvin and Adam offered because some BANS members were seeking it. They have created BANS update packages that will allow BANS members who are currently on the EPN and want to switch to PJN to do so easily.

With Kelvin and Adam, updates are always a piece of cake IF the manual is followed.

The way I feel about it, and why I am not going to leverage eBay on the PJN (unless I decide to split test) is that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

I’ve been running the eBay Partner Network on my Build a Niche Stores now since April 1st. It took me roughly two days to update all 40+ of my niches. Some underperform and some do well — but they all work as a unit.

I’ve noticed earning that are in sync with what I earned when on Commission Junction. I would like to see more ACRU’s though — eBay registrations are a big boost to income.

I’ve seen roughly 12,000 clicks over the month. This may not seem huge — but it’s not bad considering I’ve never paid a penny to advertise any of my niches. To me, the earnings are residual earnings and really don’t take any work at this point except some minor tweaks. I do feel I need to get them out in some free directories a little more.

This helps a lot!

I have been on the Ebay Partner Network for the last 25 days or so. I am finding that the impressions and clicks are very comparable to my Commission Junction Days. I do find fewer eBay Registrations than CJ but am finding that my earnings are right on the money (no pun intended).

I like the EPN and have been busy helping people to upgrade their sites. I worked on over 40 of my niches and I think things are going very well.

Would I like to see more earnings? Yeah. But for no paid advertising and relatively passive income at this point — I make about 1K per month.

I’m happy with that

My Build A Niche Stores are sitting nicely within the eBay Partner Network. I am hoping to see more registrations in the near future (ACRU’s). These seem to be lower than normal.

I’ll keep my eye on them and try some new strategies.

My initial thoughts about the migration from Commission Junction to the Ebay Partner Network is that I LIKE the switch. I think the “EPN” dashboard is clean, uncluttered and really easy to use. I also think that eBay running their affiliate network in-house is something that they should have contemplated even sooner …. maybe it just took all this time to make it happen.

Well, I have 40+ active Build a Niche Store sites and have had to work through the upgrade process very methodically. I started a spreadsheet, ensured I found all my niches out there on the web (some of them were more obscure and lose somewhere in cyberspace … probably not the best thing, huh?) and worked through an upgrade process to v3.0 first and THEN to updated to V3.0EPN.

This upgrade has been painless and the migration - although a bit of a bear - has been relatively easy. A “rinse and repeat” type of endeavor where I have done things very methodically.

Overall, I really like the new eBay Partner Network — I think that it will be nice to see the realistic picture that the eBay affiliate program shows to me. So far, I like what I see. My job, a few more niches when I feel in the mood and becoming more of a Web 2.0 Cowgirl.
